Conflict

Hello, my old friend’, we never say when I see him & he sees me too.

I can feel the soldier across the border too is feeling blue...

Our lives are so distinct, yet joined with permanent glue...

Lives are just targets- sacrificed for borders, without ado…

Why war? Whose battle? What conflict? No clue...

Glue is the word as Soldiers on either side of the border have to be glued to one another. Lives are dependent...

  14. Anita, this was powerful, intense, and so well done. I agree with you entirely. We cannot wage war to effect peace, we cannot continue to destroy lives and families over politics, borders, and old men's games. It is up to us to say ENOUGH!
