Spill The Beans

"Spill the beans!" they demanded of me urgently.

I had no beans to spill actually, couldn't they see?

I just know how to cook & eat beans tastefully.

I had wandered across the border unintentionally;

But, the adamant police just didn't believe this refugee...

They created artificial boundaries & conspired to take her hostage & monstrously imprison.

She never lost her spirit, her confidence or the sight of her dream to reach for the horizon.

This world may be filled with hatred, but as long as there are believers, there's light & hope.

She dedicated herself completely to her music & expressed herself & her desires to cope...
