Wordista Creativa

She thought she knew all the words,
She felt she deserved all the awards.
The proud queen proclaimed another title for self-
'WORDISTA CREATIVA'- her latest book on shelf.

When her subjects didn't have any money,
She felt they could afford milk and honey!
And of course they could buy all what she wrote,
Her books were bestsellers; that's what she thought.

The poor public was busy trying to be savvinomical;
What 'Wordista Creativa' was doing was comical.
She wrote on multiple topics that she felt were vital-
The content had nothing to do with the book-title!

Flock Together!

People have different motivations to work.
But, the #1 activity on checklist they never shirk-

One act that shamelessly unites them together-
Efforts impressing their superior/leader!

Some Confessions Of A Blogaholic

Blogaholic refers to one who loves Blogging & her/his Blog.

Here the Blogaholic is yours truly.

Ever since I have started Blogging seriously, I have been doing crazy things... more so in the recent past.

The following are half a dozen Confessions of this Blogaholic!

1. Everything appears like a story to me, with the potential to make it BIG & get featured on my super Blog! When I read the newspaper or watch the news, I am no longer that helpless or passive... Blogging is cathartic & therapeutic.

2. Blogging makes me feel powerful. My mind is always active and has a say. I express through my Blog and also via fellow-Bloggers' posts.
I feel free to express whatever I wish & share my views on the good and the not-so-good topics.

a) When I read about the tilting of the Train by passengers to free a man whose leg had got trapped between the carriage & the platform in Perth, Australia, I mentally picked this inspiring incident as a future-topic for my Blog.
b) Some days later, it was heart-touching when I read about the Pune incident where the public got together to push a bus & rescue two accident-victims- young boys who were trapped under the bus.

If Clothes Could Talk...

They'd endearingly ask us to take good care!
Excite us to flaunt them with flair!

They'd cry- "WEAR ME! Don't just stand!"
"Extract me out of the Cupboard, do you understand?"

"Staring blankly at your wardrobe isn't encouraging of you!"
"You have ME in your collection, still you have no clue!"

My Friend's Tale!

The other day, when I found a lady grinning widely at me in the Mall, the friendly person that I am, I graciously flashed my million-dollar-smile in return!

The lady hugged me and said, “Oh Sweety! How you have changed, my friend!”

“Sweety, You were short & plump & had straight hair when we were in School, but now you are tall & thin & have curly hair…!”

Understanding that this certainly was a case of mistaken identity, I clarified patiently, “Listen, My name is not Sweety… it is Anita!”

It was the lady’s turn to be shocked as she opened her eyes wide with disbelief and exclaimed, “Sweety! You have changed your name also!!!”

Note: This story is based on a friend's real-life tale!

This post is a part of Write Over the Weekend, an initiative for Indian Bloggers by BlogAdda.

This time we’re aiming at making it more creative! Your post must contain the word Friend and you have just 5 sentences to complete your story.
