LAST CUP OF TEA
(Based on a True Story:)

Pune Station, 2018
There was a tea stall just outside Pune railway station.
The owner was Ramesh Anna- 62 years old, with one disabled leg.
He would open his stall every morning at 5:00 AM and close it at 11:00 PM.
A cup of tea cost 5 rupees... and came with one complimentary thing: a "Smile."
People would come, drink tea, talk for 10 minutes, and leave with a lighter heart.
Someone once told him, "Anna, you are a psychiatrist."
She often
saw that house.
It looked appealing
from outside.
The satin
curtains, the furniture... everything looked perfect.
Not
satisfied with glimpses, she wanted to explore the entire house.
The mere
thought made her feel happy.
She
imagined what it’d be like to visit it.
She got
her chance soon.

An elderly
woman wanted a parcel hand-delivered there.
She was walking when it started raining heavily.
The street was deserted.
A green-coloured car stopped.
Throwing caution to the wind, she did not think twice before
entering the car.

The car smelled like a forest.
They drove in silence on a dark road.
The driver stopped the car in a desolate place.
Little Lily
went to attend a meeting with her parents.
The venue was a historical building.
Visitors were admiring a wooden door.
Letters had been beautifully carved.
The language was not familiar.
The text was not legible.
There was a huge lock on the door.

"Isn't that an unusual building?"
“Never seen anything like this!” the parents said.
Rasi, their teenage daughter, smiled triumphantly.
"I spent hours designing this unique building for the
upcoming competition!" the young architect said.
Rasi had creatively and optimally used all the
building-block plastic brick pieces of the "Young Architect" set.
There
were three guitars on stage at a national youth event.
Three
strangers- Amar, Akbar, and Anthony- went for a performance.

Strangely, Akbar and Anthony also knew the same tune and lyrics!

It was quite an unusual message Bela received that morning.
First, she was shocked that the object in the image- a handcrafted box- was exactly what she had dreamt the night before!

Amy was happy to see what she finally had in her hands.

It was the
hottest-ever summer.
Liza had
never experienced such scorching heat.
Liza wasn't
prepared for what she saw next.
The sea receded
at least a kilometer away from their home on the beach!

Notable was the stump of a tree that was visible.
Their meeting was a coincidence.
Or perhaps destiny had special plans to bring them
together.
Otherwise, why would they have met in the theater,
seated side by side, to watch "The Special Ship" movie?
He asked her for a date at the promenade.
She agreed.
They saw the same special ship there!

It seemed like the ship had been shipped from Heaven for them!
It stopped in front of them.
Richy felt totally lost.
The signboards did not help.
She could not understand the local language.
Richy could not blame anyone.
The decision to visit this foreign city was entirely hers.
She thought she would see and learn new things.
But, this was such a challenging exercise...
