The Blue Birds

She loved the wooden wall hanging in the knick-knacks shop.

She purchased it for her garden.

It was summer.

She thought of the two blue birds who often visited her garden.

They could make it their cozy home!

The Palace Rose Garden

The travellers went to the palace.

"Photography is not allowed inside", their Guide warned.

 

When Dia saw the palace, she walked as though she knew the place.

Silver Bells

Mira was visiting USA for the first time with her parents.

As they were passing by the countryside, Mira was surprised as she could identify the place.

She made her parents stop by an inn near a tree and greeted the elderly shopkeeper by his name! 

Then, Mira excitedly gave directions- 

"A left turn from here and we will reach 'Silver Bells'".

"Have you been here before, Mira?" her parents were startled.

Great Gift

Rosy toiled to maintain her rose garden.

She had won many flower-show awards.

“Please give me 6 roses” her neighbor Dev begged her.

Rosy’s roses were very beautiful and famous.

But, Rosy hardly sold them for money.

It had to be for a noble cause or someone’s need or to barter.

The Garden View

She found a garden-space.

Something told her that it's too small for her huge plantation dreams!

She silenced the thought saying- the space is huge for an ant!

The next moment, she got an ant's eye view of the said garden-space!

The grasses looked huge and the sides of the table like a strong brick wall!

What had happened? How would she regain her previous dimensions?

Bhubaneswar has many beautiful and well-maintained gardens and parks like Nandankanan and Ekamra Van to name a few.

Ekamra Van is an impressive garden in the Old Town area of Bhubaneswar. Located on the Western bank of the Bindusagar tank, Ekamra Van has over 200 medicinal plants and trees. 
The garden was opened for the public in 2009.
