Happy New Year Wishes

Each English calendar new year comes with hope and cheer and the possibilities are unlimited!

Darshan of Mahaprabhu

I remember the past celebrations when we started the year with a darshan of Shree Jagannatha Mahaprabhu at Puri Dham, Odisha.

Those were the days when there was no internet, smartphone or social media.

Now, we can end and start with darshan anywhere and anytime.

Now, what we want to do "darshan" and what we want to share is totally up to us!

Shubh Dhanteras and Shubh Diwali

Dhanteras constitutes of two words- Dhan and Teras.

"Dhan" means- wealth

"Teras" means- the 13th Day of the Krishna Paksha (dark fortnight) of the Kartik (Kartika) Maas (Maasa or month).

13th day is also called- "Trayodashi".
Dhanteras is "Dhanwantari Trayodashi" or "Dhantrayodashi". On this auspicious day, Shree Dhanwantari is worshipped.
It is Dhanwantari Jayanti i.e. the appearance day of Shree Dhanwantari.
Shree Dhanwantari had appeared with a pot full of Amrit (nectar).
Shree Dhanwantari is the Hindu God of Medicine and Ayurveda.
Shree Dhanwantari represents good health and wellness.

Pakhala Dibasa - A Poem #PakhalaDibasa

Today is #PakhalaDibasa and also the #InternationalDayOfHappiness! ЁЯНЪ

Here are some lines - few words dedicated to Pakhala, Pakhala Day & happiness :)

For many, Pakhala is not just an "Odia Food"-
It's an emotion that's too special & good!
Even Mahaprabhu Shree Jagannatha loves this-
Served 365 days of the year- many varieties!
Odias eat Pakhala in all seasons; mostly to beat the heat-
In summer season especially, Pakhala is a refreshing treat.
March 20 is "Spring Equinox"- equal day & night length-
When days get longer & heat is on, Pakhala is strength!

Happy New Year 2022

All I know is- all the days & nights are by God's grace,
Things happen; time goes by; miraculous are the ways...

Each time it is time again to bid the old year adieu-

And welcome, with a lot of celebration, the new.

I Am Happy

I am happy to welcome a fresh new day.
I am happy when things go my way.
I am happy when I get to have a say.
I am happy when I drive negativity away!

I smile when life proves me right.
I smile when there's a funny sight-
Even when things don't appear bright!
I reach success, climbing its height.

WOW: What Makes You Smile? What Makes You Happy?

Happiness Is... #AToZChallenge

Happiness is-
Warm smiles & family & friends by our side,
Honesty & integrity & no haunted secrets to hide!

Happiness is-
Feeling blessed & contented & feeling great,
Blissful awareness, positivity & celebratory state.

Happiness is-
Enjoying every moment & life's roller-coaster ride!
No gloomy thoughts; rather intense joy bonafide!

Happiness is-
Hope, Friendship, Food, Fun, Peace, Laughter, Smiles...
All that matter & raise the happiness-index across miles.

Happiness is-
Love for life & like fragrance must be spread far & wide!
Ours to earn & own if to choose happiness we decide!

The Happy Host

The old lady had a small apartment in an old building in the outskirts of the city.

Though she was poor, she had a big heart, was amusing and entertained guests happily.

Everyone called her the 'Happy Host'.

Happy Ending

"Appreciate those who love you.
Help those who need you.
Forgive those who hurt you.
Forget those who leave you."

- @ObeyHerSwag on Twitter

Life gives us choices and opportunities. If we do not grab them at the right time, we may not have the chance again! We never get a second chance to make a first impression.

We are all in the race, competing to win at our own pace! But, in the process, we make choices, sometimes listening to the wrong voices. What is wrong and what is right? Perceptions differ from person to person- dependent on their vision and their understanding of problems and solutions. One man's meat is another man's poison.

Self-interests are paramount. To achieve them, we ignore the rest- sometimes even the people who love us best. When the realisation dawns, it's usually too late! We wish to be transported to a better state! But, wishes are not horses, else we could ride! Better be grateful and take care of what we possess and are privileged to have by our side.

How difficult it must be to see the love of your life getting attention and appreciation from someone else. Why allow such a situation at all? The person you took for granted, now occupies prime-position in other's lists as popular & most-wanted!
For what you have no time, someone else will be willing to devote all the time in the world.
What you don't wanna do, someone else is praying for an opportunity to do with all the sincerity...

All the riches and 'profits' in the world become meaningless with the 'loss' of a loved one. No amount of wealth can buyback our loved one for us...also the lost time is forever gone, sunk without a trace. No doubt we suffer a loss of face...

My previous post- http://www.anitaexplorer.blogspot.in/2013/08/goodbye-hi.html was a short story that dealt with lost opportunities...

I was surprised to discover the untold first part of my story, mentioned in vivid detail, in my friend, Sunakshi's story in her Blog- http://veiled-chapters.blogspot.in/2013/07/and-why-he-couldnt-stick-to-his-promises.html

I now have the complete story...

But, the story can be different with our positive intention and action- as we can assume all the roles to make our story superhit...Be the all-in-one actor, director, writer...

Yes, it flashed like a 'Pearl in Darkness'!

We have the power to ensure our life's complete story has a happy ending...!!!
I love happy endings!
