The only one who can heal & cure?

You believe you're Soul Mate & gift?

That you can only solve & uplift?

That you are the only expert here?

That your words & actions bring cheer?

All that glitters isn't gold, we know.

But, we take what appears at face value.

The proof is what we're shown & show.

When It Is Time

Unlike a juice bottle or medicine pack,

Or a soap or rent agreement; we lack-

"Last/Use-by" date info on each human-

The date of expiry/death is not mentioned.

Losing Track Of Time

They asked her to focus on work.

She was not the type to shirk.

Serious about responsibilities,

Losing track of time in liabilities.

Her dreams were smothered.

But, she was no longer bothered!

She was head over heels in love!

Wheel Of Time

Father and his six-year old daughter had gone for a walk when they spotted the Giant Wheel.

"Please take me for a ride on that!", she begged her father.

Third Time Lucky?

“I just need another week.” I heard myself pleading.
"I'm afraid your deadline is over," he answered coldly.

It was all my fault. I had been unable to complete my pending tasks.

The last week and the week before when he had come, I had sincerely made the same request.
When he had agreed to grant me extra time, I felt grateful for his kind consideration.
Before I could shake hands with him, he had left without a word.

As I had already stretched my luck and managed to get two extensions in the recent past, would I be third time lucky? 

This time I decided to get physical to make him change his mind...

Time To Think #AToZChallenge

Many times we lament & complain-
There's no time even to stare or think.
We long to revisit the past again...
Time has simply passed by in a blink...

Just Now #AToZChallenge

Finding me under a huge load, Life asked,
"When will you complete your lists & tasks?"
"Tomorrow or the day after, or the weekend,
If only some extra time, time would lend!"

When I answered this, in a jiffy Time appeared!
"Are you out of your mind or joking?" Time jeered!
"I gift the same number of seconds to everyone!
It's upto you whether you work hard or have fun.

Present Time

She was a migrant, who wished to be self-sufficient.

The new country offered her study as well as work opportunities.

In her spare time, she worked as a waitress to support her education.

Though she encountered impolite customers, she never lost her cool.

One day, a smart gentleman arrived with a gift for her.

He had become livid with rage the other day for a trivial matter and had not appeared smart.

Anger has such effect.

Despite this, she had served him with her usual calmness. 

After-Effects

He & she got married and dreamt of a life starry & jazzy. 

They allowed life to happen to them when they were busy.

They ran after schedules & attended to all the demands crazy.
