My hair used to be my crowning glory,
Then came a twist in my hair's story...
Earlier my Mom used to oil, comb & plait it for
me,
My hair used to be long, strong, thick & shiny.
It also got great food with the right nutrition,
Thanks to my Mom's great care & attention.
For my higher studies, when I went to Delhi,
My hair missed the gentle love of my Mummy...
Got Delhi's heat & cold- extreme weather
conditions,
Also was forced to encounter the awful pollution...
Not to mention the stress of my MBA education-
Late-night studying, lack of sleep & improper nutrition…
I was soon a working-woman, who was super-busy,
I had many roles to play & no ME-time for poor me…
Had I more time for myself, my hair would gain
attention,
But neglected so, my hair no longer makes an
impression…
It is frizzy, lifeless, lacks luster & is unmanageable,
My once crowning-glory is now in a state so awful…
To adorn my hair, if I pick flowers, there are no smiles…
Recharged hair is wanted as it brings smiles across
miles…
My hairbrush is forever crying, seeing loss of my hair,
My flying & falling hair give my home’s floors a
scare…
But my hair finds its way even to my kitchen- that’s
worse,
Recharging my hair will recharge my life & stop
this curse.
Though people say I am cool & an excellent cook,
Terrible as they find my hair in dishes/food when they
look!
The other day, when from plate, a guest fished out a
strand,
I decided– I’ll recharge my hair & no more be embarrassed!
I’ll recharge my life too so that all will love me a bit more!
Perhaps my recharged hair will put me on a magazine
cover!

| Me On Extreme Left! |
I need to recharge my hair to let my hair down!
To let my curls rock & roll, dance in joy &
not frown!
Recharging my hair will banish all my bad hair days,
I’ll be ready to party & style my hair in many
ways!
Recharging my hair will mean recharging my life…
I wanna celebrate life’s party everyday & feel
alive!
