Why do things and people grow old?
Time is always ticking, and seconds and years go by.
Everything and everyone suffer the consequences.
Everyone grows old- including things, trees, birds and animals.
Old items like stamps, coins, statues etc are prized for their antique value.
But, can we say the same about pets and people?
Old pets and animals like dogs, cows etc. area abandoned.
Those people who are old, have stayed a long time and have gained precious experience.
But, do the young value it?
Far from that, some people have no qualms about discarding their parents like garbage.
It is said- "Old is gold".
Old age has its own reasons.
There is a purpose for everything.
Old age is no exception.

GOLDEN AGE
Why Did God Create Old Age?
Someone asked God, “If You can create anything, why not make us young forever?”
God smiled and replied:
“Old age has a purpose too.”
👁️ I reduced your eyesight so you would look less at the outside world and more within.
😊 I gave you wrinkles so you would understand that true beauty is not just on the face.
🚶 I weakened your legs so you would slow down and reflect on life.
👂 I reduced your hearing so you would listen less to the noise around you and more to your inner voice.
🛏️ I gave you more time to rest so that worldly attachments would gradually loosen and you could seek peace.
Then God said:
“Old age is not a punishment. It is a gentle preparation for letting go.”
The beauty of old age is not in what we lose, but in what we learn to let go of.
🌿 Perhaps old age is God’s way of teaching us gratitude, acceptance, inner peace—and preparing us to embrace life’s final journey peacefully.
🙏🏼 A thought truly worth reflecting upon.
