Under the full moon's radiance,
Walking on the street in full sense,
I feel the cool breeze caress me,
My mind experiences ecstasy.

This intoxication puts me on a better high,
Than the alcoholic spirits that promise the sky!
I feel like a superstar walking on a rich stage,
Silvery Moonlight and I am on the same page!

"Silvery Moonlight" reminds me of several Hindi movie songs set on full-moon nights. Full moon nights- called Purnima - are extra special in Hinduism. Auspicious days are associated with Purnima. Many great people are born on Purnima.

Oh... I love a companion like this
ReplyDeleteAnita, I also love Hindi movie scores and really like how you likened this painting to one! Like walking on moonshine!
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeously encapsulated, Anita. I love the atmosphere you create here with "cool breeze caressing me" and "this intoxication puts me on a better high." There is something about full moon nights (Purnima) that appeals to us isn't it?
