The Creative Installations

The shoes were lying in their attic for years just like so many other unused items in their home.

Photo Prompt- Ted Strutz

Discarded things were lying outside their home too– just like an old car, statues, toys etc.

Once-loved items were now uncared…

Rizzy had enterprisingly decided that she had to do something about all those.

Then, she started her “Waste To Wealth Project”.

There was a new tourist spot in town.

Visitors were flocking to see the creative works of art.

Rizzy enthusiastically explained.

The crowd cheered.

Some donated things that they no longer needed.

There will be more creative installations soon!

100 Words story for Friday Fictioneers

Was unable to participate in the last 3 weeks.

Have used the past 3 photo prompts in this story :)

What do you do with the unused items in your home?

Please share in the comments below.

  1. A virtuoso clean sweep of three prompts!

  2. So much said succinctly

    1. sorry, this is Bear McQuinn.

  3. Dear Anita,

    Rizzy is resourceful. Nicely done.

  4. Brilliant use of all three photo prompts! Love this.

  5. Granonine here. This is a brilliant use of three very different prompts. Congratulations :)

  6. That was fun. I love upcycling, and if art comes out of it, even better.

  7. Wonderful story!

  8. Great combination of the prompts!

  9. Well done! A great use of the prompts.

  10. I like what you did here. Nice one, Anita!

  11. I do not have clutter. I know. Shocking, right? I dislike things just lying around in closets or drawers. I donate things to the needy. People cna use these items that sit waiting to be used. It feels rewarding to take them to a church or communiity center and know that a needy person will have something they need. I even donate my worn bath, wash clothes and face cloths to the animal shelters.
I like the way u=you were able to combine all of the 3 photos. Clever ... Nicley done, Anita.
Have a good weekend, Isadora 😎
PS. I am Curlytop on Google but it's me - Isadora

  12. Excellent example of a very creative write! Well done!

  13. Very clever to incorporate three prompts like that. I take my hat off to you. It's a good story too.

  14. Anita nice combo story. Repurposing is always preferred I think. My unwanted items: curbside, with a free sign; donation to thrift shop; give to friend or family who wants/needs it; in the dumpster.

  15. I love it! Rizzy’s creative use of unused items and your creative use of 3 prompts! I missed the last 2 weeks as well. (Michele - Thisobscurelife)
