The Miracle

Seven-year old Gia's mother was very sick.

Gia was heart-broken to see her industrious mother bed-ridden.

She could not afford to lose her only parent.

"Only a miracle can save her," the doctor answered after checkup.

Gia knew where miracles were available.

She did remember the real-story her mother had told her.

Gia lost no time to visit that place- the local church.

"Jesus, I pray for the miracle to save my mother", Gia sincerely prayed.

There was a loud thunder and lightning.

When she came out, Gia saw a bright divine light in the sky.

It followed her home.

  1. Gia sounds a lot like my character Melanie, I think they'd have some stories to share if they met and I hope Gia's would end happily.

  4. Your story is touching, and I believe in the power of prayer. I have to wonder, though--what do people do when there is no church building nearby? Prayer is just as effective in the hospital room as it is in the church building, yes?

  5. Miracles are a suspension of natural law. I guess whether they exist or not depends on how many people support natural law and how many people claim to have seen its suspension
