The Heroine

They gave her poison- one drop each day.

Poisoning and killing her was their game.

Poison was served in a myriad of ways-

Like doubts, slander, negativity, blame...

The bricks & brickbats collection grew tall,

She felt choked & trapped, with no clue.

The mountain seemed insurmountable,

She did not know how to exit & what to do.

That's when she decided to take charge-

And make a molehill out of the mountain!

Her life- she could make it small or large!

Using those negative bricks, accounted gain!

Building her life bit by bit, making the most-

Turning around the mountain to a molehill!

Heroine was recognised, & all raised a toast!

Negative to positive- possible with effort & skill!

  4. I love the empowering message here. Turning the very bricks meant to weigh her down into the foundation for something stronger

  6. Yes, it sometimes does take great effort and skill, but it is possible to resist others' negative opinions.
