Winning Means The World To Me!

Winning is optimally balancing life’s equation.
Winning is a huge personal triumph & celebration.

Winning is responsibility & power- like a magic-wand.
Winning is achievement that makes life great & grand!

Winning is getting our PRAYERS answered soon,
Winning is finding what we seek like a boon.

Winning is staying afloat when things are bust.
Winning is pride, earning a place BEING FIRST.

Winning is being faster than everyone else in a race,
Winning is catching up with dreams when we chase…

Winning is getting ahead of ourselves as we compete-
Winning over ourselves than others is a bigger treat!

Winning is also having the guts of finishing, no less.
Winning is adhering to all the rules with fairness.

Winning is not compromising with our values,
Winning is making the world understand our views.

("Even today I don't pick up money thrown at me.")

Winning is growing from strength to strength.
Winning is traversing that wee bit extra length.

Winning is not being complacent or with laurels rest!
Winning is continuous effort to be amongst the best.

“You don't win once in a while, you don't do things right once in a while, you do them right all the time. Winning is habit.” -Vince Lombardi

Winning is not giving up even after pain or loss.
Winning is succeeding & proving life who’s the boss!

Winning keeps us strong, losing makes us stronger.
Winning is not quitting, rather clinging on longer.

There's Winning And There's Losing And In Life Both Will Happen. What Is Never Acceptable To Me Is Quitting.” – Magic Johnson

Winning is the attitude that gives us energy to win,
Winning is vanquishing the demons within…

Winning is everything that gives us a cool edge.
Winning is sacrifice, commitment to fulfill pledge.

"Kabhi kabhi kuch jeetne ke liye kuch haarna bhi padta hai, aur haar kar jeetnay waley ko Baazigar kehte hain" – Shah Rukh Khan in Baazigar
("Sometimes, to win something, we have to lose something, and one who wins after losing is called Baazigar.")

Winning is the adulation reserved across lands,
Winning is the respect that a Winner commands.

Winning is LEARNING LESSONS from experience.
Winning is accepting the truth and making sense!

Winning is supporting & lending a helping-hand.
Winning is when the line starts where we stand.

Hum jahan khade ho jaate hain, line wahi se shuru hoti hai.” – Amitabh Bachchan in Kaalia
("Where I stand, the line starts from there.")

Winning is not dependent on others interpretation,
Winning is accomplishment after sincere effort & action.

WINNING-(R) Me with my Super Brain Super Personality Trophies & Gold Medal

Winning is great positivity & counting our blessings,
Winning is discovering our invisible crowns & wings!

Winning is Victory Speech, Invitation to Conclave!
Winning is attaining all that our hearts & minds crave!

A.R.Rahman’s Song, ‘Yayi Re’ from the movie Rangeela, comes to my mind!
Winning is adding COLORS, being Rangeela (Colorful) as I unwind-

“Bade Bade Naamo Mein Apna Bhi Naamo Nishaan To Ho, Pehchaan To Ho;
Jeene Mein Phir To Kya Baat Ho; Din Naya Aur Nayee Raat Ho;
Har Ghadi Bas Khushi Saath Ho…Chal Mere Sung Sung, Le Le Duniya Ke Rang;
Ho Ja Rangeela Re...!”

(“Let my name be amongst the famous names, Let me have an Identity;
Life’d be great; I’d have New Days & Nights;
Every moment would be happy…Come with me, Take the colors of the World;
Become Rangeela …!")

  2. Great one, really like this quote from Women Can Do it All "The strongest people aren't always the people who win, but the people who don't give up when they lose" and frankly speaking it happens with me everyday. I lose on everyday and then again I stand up and fight again for winning, though I know I won't be able to win, but I never give up. I at least have this feeling that I tried my best....

  14. So well put , Anita!:)
    As always this post also has that "Unique" factor in it. The flow , the lines are so well done with such ease.
    For me , "Winning is to have that feeling of content" , If I am content , I am a winner.
    After a race , you win , you are content. After an exam , you top , you are content.
    So , basically if we are content right now, we are a winner! :) :)
