My Father's Tithi Birthday- Bamana Janma and Onam

Today is a very auspicious day- The Dwadasi of Bhadra i.e. "the 12th day of the bright fortnight of Bhādra" is celebrated as "Bamana Janma" & "Onam."

Today is the tithi birthday of my father, Shri A.K.Sabat Finance Guru - CA AK Sabat.
Papa was born on this day (& not date).
May Mahaprabhu bless him with great health and happiness and fulfill all his wishes🙏

Fathers have a great role to play.

Great dads have the best interests of the child at heart. They want their child to grow and be happy. They plan everyday how to make their child’s life better and also for a great future.

Hindi cinema has portrayed many great dads.

In the movie- Fashion, when the dejected heroine returns home, her father encourages her to go and make her comeback. He tells her that she is his daughter and she cannot be defeated. She has to win! Yes, she does and makes him proud!

The Most PAUSitive Person-II

This Post is more about my Papa- the most POSITIVE Person I know. I discussed how he likes and upholds the clean-shaven look in my Post- The Most PAUSitive Person-I

Ever since I was small, I have always seen Papa and all my uncles clean-shaven.

As both my Paternal & Maternal sides of my family are pretty large, there are many members. All males are clean-shaven!

The only time when I have seen the male-family-members with stubble is when there is a death in the family.

As per our custom, we do not have to cut anything- no hair, nails etc during the mourning period of 10 days.

Ever since I know, I always hate a death…

The Most PAUSitive Person-I

I have been in love with him,

Ever since I set foot on Earth!

He’s the best; no one is like him,

He’s gifted me life…my birth…

He has been my horse & elephant,

Taken me on rides & drives galore,

He has gifted me all that I want…

Told stories, taught Maths & done more…

The ‘He’ in my life is Papa- my father!

Though I’m now his son-in-law’s wife,

He’s still my Knight-in-Shining-Armor,

A POSITIVE & integral part of my Life!

My Papa & I

My Papa is a professional Chartered Accountant (CA), who has his own firm and branches in many cities. He is a frequent-flier who’s often travelling for work.

My Papa is much in demand with the local News-Channels for his views & for giving Budget talks all over India.

When my Papa was studying CA, he was offered a role as the hero of an Odia film!

His clean shaven look bowled the Director over!

Of course, my Papa refused as he wanted to be a CA- Chartered Accountant & not a CA- Cinema Actor (He quotes this in his much-popular & awaited talks!) ! He was amongst the toppers of the CA Exams!

When my Papa went to see my Mom for the first time, his clean shaven look bowled her over!

They were married & I was born. His clean shaven look bowled me over!

My Papa has always been clean-shaven. He makes it a point to shave every day and be ‘presentable’.

He encourages his staff to be clean-shaven too.

Once, a new-joinee had come to his office with a stubble.

Papa: “I hate that unclean stubble. Why haven’t you shaved?”

Junior: “Sir, I had no time to shave…”

Papa: “That's no excuse! Shaving doesn’t take much time! I do it every day within 2-minutes. Shall I teach you how to do 2-minutes-shaving*?”

The Junior apologized!

Everyone in his office follows my Papa’s 2-minutes-shaving-mandatory rule!

My Papa ROCKS!!!

*2-minutes-shaving- 2-minutes is not just for making Maggi noodles! Papa has been doing this successfully for many decades now!
