The Bluebirds

The bluebirds were nowhere to be found.

She was trying to spot them like crazy. 

She had always wanted to research and write a book about the bluebirds. 

Many could be spotted in that eco-zone where she had grown up. 

Wasn’t the spot near the river their favorite place?

Wings Of Love

He was terribly missing her.
How’d he tolerate the pain?  

Though they spoke many times, telephone conversations weren’t enough.
Social distance was killing him.

She’d gone to Italy, while he was in Spain. 

After lockdown, she couldn’t return...
"If coronavirus doesn't kill me, your absence surely will...," he said.

He woke up with high fever. 
Was it the effect of the dreaded virus or isolation from loved one? 

She longed to run her hands on his face, and help him recover.

Technology doesn’t give these pleasures.


When the winged visitor reached his window, he knew he received "love from Italy".

Nothing Fishy

That day the catch was good,
There were many fishes in store!
I promised my group we'd have food,
Compared to other days, definitely more!
