Then There Was Light

It was past midnight. 

She was speeding her car trying to flee.

Goons were hot in her chase.

She was not going to let them catch her. 

She sped through little-known by-lanes in an unfamiliar part of the city.

In a dark stretch, her car suddenly stopped.

It wouldn't restart.

She had two options- either stay put in her car and risk being traced or get out and look for a safe hiding place till the morning.

She chose the latter and hurried as fast as her feet could carry her towards the direction of a solitary house with light.

  5. That happened to Brad and Janet when their car broke down and they took refuge in the "Frankenstein place" (a "Rocky Horror Picture Show" - 1974 film - reference). -James
