A recent case has shocked everyone.
A 20-year-old to-be-married, Siya Goyal, plotted and planned with her boyfriend, Chetan Chaudhury, and pushed and killed her fiancé, Ketan Agarwal, from a fort in Pune.
We are extremely sorry to learn about the tragic end of a promising young life.
From the videos shown in news channels, it can be seen how smitten with love the young man Ketan was. He seems to be in love and looking forward to a life with Siya.
Doesn't Siya look equally happy?
A destination wedding had been planned worth crores.
Also, a pre-wedding shoot was scheduled abroad.
Siya Goyal had even taken Rs 1 crore for wedding shopping from her fiancé, Ketan Agarwal.
And handed over the entire amount to her boyfriend, as he was not in a good financial position. The idea was to empower Chetan at Ketan's expense.
Financial irregularity and funds theft was one angle.
Killing her fiancé, Ketan, is quite another level.
And thereafter behaving as if it was just an accident. And even posting on social media and garnering support and earning sympathy!
Chetan has been a crafty accomplice.
He took his worker's phone (instead of his phone) and a bike (instead of his car) and wore a hoodie covering his face and body (in this heat).
The deadly duo- Siya and Chetan, were in touch via phone, and even conversed some minutes before they pushed him to his death.
But, after a swift police investigation, their best plans were identified, including CCTV footage of the cafe where they hatched their deadly plans.
Everyone had believed Siya Goyal's version of the story - that it was an accident and Ketan had slipped and fallen into the gorge.
All thanks to Ketan's sister for alerting the authorities after getting suspicious listening to Siya Goyal's replies. But, whatever it is, her brother cannot come back to life...
Ketan Agarwal and his family deserved better.
Om Shanti.
Do hope the guilty couple Siya Goyal and her boyfriend get exemplary punishment.
Let no one get away with murder.
May justice be served fast.
What astonishes me most is how some people can put on an act that "all is well" after committing such cold-blooded, heartless murders and heinous crimes.
The issue is we do not know the intentions of people, and our trust goes for a toss, and we get to face death & loss.
Even the parents of Siya Goyal seem to be unaware of the conspiracy hatched by their daughter.
From their news interviews, they seem to not know the turmoil their daughter was in after they fixed her marriage.
They claim she was very happy!
Happy to-be wives do not push their to-be-husbands to death.
Parents of Siya are not aware or feign ignorance?
Her mother even said that her daughter can be thrown off the same cliff if found guilty!
This murder-story is sadly proven with the statements of the guilty in custody after police investigation.
Some young girls are diding up with the emotional pressire Siya Goyal was in!
It seems she was concerned about the status of her parents if she called off the wedding.
What will people say?
Chickening out from not accepting the truth and resorting to murder and showing it as an accident!
Did she never think abut what will people say when they learn the truth?
Did she never think of the staus of her parents and family's honour before committing the crime?
Seems like she was too confident that they would get away with their seemingly "perfectly-planned" murder.
A few days earlier too, she had tried to push and kill him, but Ketan had survived by holding on to a bush. Siya had then cooked up a story about sighting a snake.
Her efforts succeeded this time.
There's a saying in Hindi-
"Saanp bhi mar jaye, aur laathi bhi na toote"- The snake would die, and the stick would be unbroken
It is said- "Honesty is the best policy."
If everyone had given truth a chance and not hidden it, the world would have been a much better place.Society must instil these values. There should be moral science lessons in school.
Yesterday, I saw a sweet #GiveTruthAChance ad.
I especially liked the 2 sisters- in which the younger one feels her elder sister deserves better.
If people were not scared of sharing the truth, so many shocking murders would never have taken place.
If you do not want to go ahead with something or someone, please express yourself truthfully, and let your thoughts be known to your circle and, also communicate with the other party.
Stop that work, or choose to walk out or break up.
Do not sabotage the work or kill people, for heaven's sake.
They say- "Everything is fair in love and war."
But, wrong acts cannot go unpunished, and there has to be justice to set an example.
So that such cases are not repeated. Sadly, these are on the rise and need to be checked and stopped.
Adopt truth as the action & solution.
Satyameva Jayate
