The election results of five states have been declared recently.
This time there has been unprecedented voting.
People have travelled long distances to visit their home-towns and to participate in the "Dance of Democracy" and Indian elections 2026.
While earlier, some citizens were fearful to venture out to vote as they had been coached and targetted, this time they dared to vote feeling secure and also desperate.
Much can be achieved with hope and action.
Never to give up without trying! That is how many non-resident citizens spent their own time and money to travel long distances to their respective villages/towns/cities and exercice their voice, and choice - their franchise.
In one of the states, some illegally staying members of a community were found leaving the place they had occupied after trespassing the border. This gave great relief to the locals whose area was getting occupied and populated by such encroachment.
In another state, the flags of a neighbouring country were seen during the victory celebrations. That state is famous for its "high literacy". Supporters were delighted by the party that had won. They knew they were free to be anti-national with the backing and support of the anti-nationals.
What use is such literacy if it does not teach us the sense to not glorify other nations' flags etc. at the cost of ignoring or insulting our national flag?
In the example of the first state and others where a nationalist party has won, there were only India's flags that were seen in the victory processions and celebrations.
My vote is for that party after whose winning the locals and well-wishers of our nation celebrate.
The other nuisance-causing elements and those with bad intentions must be filled with sadness and fear.
We do not hope to see celebrations by unrelated people in other countries just because the better party lost, while an anti-national party won!
This is sadly the reality in one state now.
Once the census results are out, the massive demographics change will be evident.
In the long run, these point to some new concerns and challenges, that we, as responsible children of Bharat Mata, must address, serve, and solve.
The sooner, the better.
Be Indian, vote for Indians
