Some are ready to give it a red-carpet welcome!
Not all lights are necessary, nor do all glow bright.
How many advocate the extinction of useless lights?

You start afresh with hope & a promising story,
What happens in between gifts no credit or glory.
Absurdity has been normalised; it's in the blood!
