Dream Come True?

When she first set foot in her parent’s house, she knelt down and kissed the floor. 

It was her way to show respect to the home that had seen her childhood. 

After her mother's untimely death, she had gone abroad.

She was back after two decades!

The fragrances reminded her of departed dear ones. 

But, her mother's fragrance was strong. 

Memories came alive.

Wordista Creativa

She thought she knew all the words,
She felt she deserved all the awards.
The proud queen proclaimed another title for self-
'WORDISTA CREATIVA'- her latest book on shelf.

When her subjects didn't have any money,
She felt they could afford milk and honey!
And of course they could buy all what she wrote,
Her books were bestsellers; that's what she thought.

The poor public was busy trying to be savvinomical;
What 'Wordista Creativa' was doing was comical.
She wrote on multiple topics that she felt were vital-
The content had nothing to do with the book-title!

When You Say Nothing At All...

When you say nothing at all…

Though have emotions big & small.

You have so much to express,

But, to your ego, you’d rather caress!

How dare they treat me like this?

Why trap me like a helpless little fish?

Why was I made the conspiracy’s target?

How could they not share the secret?

Why the exclusion, the friendless pain?

Why the jeer, this attitude, the disdain?

Why is everything so sadly amiss?

What had I done to deserve this?

Strange they even dream to ignore me!

I’m the most deserving, can’t they see?

Mind sport & debates, conscience replies,

Voices in the head weigh truth & lies!

Who can fathom the angst & the din?

The seething powerful volcano within?

Appalled by all the drama & unfairness,

Does good protest employ- Words or Silence?

Even if you do share what you feel,

Even the right words won’t seal your deal!

Understanding where you stand is beyond them!

Only a jeweler knows the worth of a gem!

Say nothing at all & let your actions speak!
