And She Took A Stand!

The marital bridge beckoned right in front.

She still mindfully chose to bear the brunt.

She took the tough road, under society's glare;

To again bridge the bridge, little did she care!

"Love, faith, & understanding are a must!"

"Smile & reconcile your duty & destiny & compromise."

She always wished for serenity and freedom - freedom to think, act, be...

The more they suppressed her, the more her feelings strengthened.

Just Let It Flow

The artist felt terribly shackled as her work was not recognized.
Though it won awards, she got no mention...

Tears flooded her eyes and face.

She heard a sweet voice saying "Just let it flow".

Wiping her tears, she was surprised to see a little bird advising her- "Unshackle yourself and go with the flow".
She remembered what wise people have said- "The cause of sorrow is attachment".  

Feel Free To Celebrate

The rains had just stopped & I stepped out in style.
The street welcomed; a starry sky stretched for a mile!

Pink, blue & green lights sparkled & faces glowed happily,
Dressed in new clothes, passers-by were chatting excitedly.

I wished everyone 'Eid Mubarak' & heard the same greeting.
Belonging to India is a blessing that's incredible & amazing.
