What Is, Is

What is there, is there -

They're basking in the glory.

People see what they see,

Few know the true story.

Those who know need to care.

Those who've power can cope.

Those who care are rare.

May all forever have hope.

A Whole New World

Sight is a divine gift of God.
For vision, I'm grateful to the Lord.
In this world, there's so much to see-
A riot of colours, beauty, smiles, fantasy...

I have seen a lot, yet there's so more!
Wanna widen my horizons & improve my score!
A whole new world is awaiting for me to explore!
Opportunities are knocking; gonna answer the door!

The Language Of Love

Aye! Shhh! What do we hear?
The sounds of hatred & fear…
The hunger of the guns & the knives,
The cries of the innocent lives…

What do our eyes see?
Unfortunately not ecstasy…
Media reports that give shocks,
Human-hearts or stones & rocks?

What do we speak?
That things make us weak/freak…
After what we hear & see,
What can our words possibly be?

Wish our World gave love a chance-
Listen with the ears of tolerance!
See through the eyes of compassion!
Speak with the language of love & emotion!
Then, what we’d hear, see & say,
Would be so different in every way…
Let there be love & peace celebration,
For a better Planet Earth for every generation…

What I Saw! See More!

I have decided to be more aware & to ‘see’ more!
To be more conscious & open my mind's door!

I did not fiddle with my phone during car-journey,
Today, I earnestly made an effort to ‘see’...

I was rewarded with a sight that's rare!
I saw a Parrot sitting on an electric wire!

I was so thrilled; to click a picture I forgot!
I asked my kid, "Did you see the Parrot?”

But, as we had already crossed it, it was too late...
The sight of this particular Parrot was just in my fate.

I learnt that in the journey of life we need to ‘see’ more!
Enjoy the drive, the experience & improve our life-score!

Note- A True Poem-Story!

Today what did you see?
Did you miss anything/anyone on your journey?
