I'm in my own world doing my own thing,
When something crosses my head that's exciting!
A word, image, gesture, smell...reminds me of you.
You are a part of me, and you haven't any clue!

My thoughts race to the moments we have shared,
The unspoken words & the secrets we have bared...
Something triggers and I see those moments replay,
You may have gone far; a part of you'll always stay.

When I'm there, you wish I wasn't actually!

You may wish me away, but I'm always found!

I Am Enough

I noticed her presence some years ago.
She watched me whether I was high or low.

Every move I made, she analyzed with glee.
I tried to confront this girl & reveal the mystery.

But, she always disappeared & I couldn't locate,
Irrespective of my quick reflexes & mental state.

Graceful Style Of My Own

Ever since I learnt my name- Anita's meaning,
My confidence shot up & I started grinning :D
I believed that as my name means 'Graceful',
I can carry off any & every style & be blissful!

Jeans or Leggings with a simple top or Kurti,
Traditional Lehnga, Salwar-suit or Saree pretty...
Mix and match Indian with Western wear & fusion,
I carry off styles; charting new paths with no confusion!

I earn cool compliments when I enter any door!

Soul Exchange

My kid & I had been to my father's place.

The next morning I found A Wish Had Come True!

Papa & I realized that our souls had been exchanged & as per God's direction, we had to live one another's life for a day.

I confessed to My Papa, My Role-Model that unfortunately this was as A Wish Had Come True!

Being the honest sweetheart that he is, even he confessed that he often wondered how his darling little girl is handling so many things post-marriage!
