Dream Or Reality?

Selected as a WOW post here.

When I asked the reason why the old man sitting on a park bench was sobbing uncontrollably, he said he had lost his diary and his bubbles...

Assuring him that I would find his diary and his bubbles for him, I journeyed resolutely, arrived near a comfortable blue sofa and when I sat on it, I noticed it had a diary that looked ancient.

Her Fairy Tale

“The barista shook his head. That hedge couldn’t have moved closer overnight. Could it?”

Everyone felt that the hedge was definitely closer to the writer's home.

They noticed that the tall golden statue of a gentleman near the hedge was missing, which some suspected was an expert thief's handiwork.

The Lotus Girl

They made her the target of their bloody malicious game.
They bullied- unfair allegations, personal-attacks, insulted her name...

Spring In her Step

It was the onset of Spring, and she, who made newspaper headlines, had booked a trip to travel with her dog and stay in a tree-house in a nondescript place in one part of the world.

They thought she was crazy to choose to visit that forest to stay there for a week, while the best hotels in cities across the world extended free-stay invites to her.

Soulmates

This post has been published by me as a part of the Blog-a-Ton 50; the fiftieth edition of the online marathon of Bloggers; where we decide and we write. In association with Soulmates: Love without ownership by Vinit K Bansal. To be part of the next edition, visit and start following Blog-a-Ton.

When Lisa's groom did not turn up at the wedding, one of the guests, Asok, volunteered to marry her that date in January, in case she was willing.

Lisa said YES and Asok and Lisa were soon man and wife.

At The Graveyard...

When I went there, I could sense the heavy atmosphere,

Under the stars shining bright, tears were falling without fear.

A seven-year-old girl had gone to the village-fair with her family & was admiring the lovely stuff displayed.

Realizing she was lost, she started running with tears on her face when a stranger pulled her saying, "Come with me, dear!"

While walking, as the stranger told her stories, she was confused about that lady's identity, wondering where she had seen her before...

Super Relief

I, Lois Lane, was excited as the President was coming to our newspaper-office & I was to make an important presentation!

I locked myself in the washroom to comb my hair, wash my face & powder my nose – reserved for special occasions like this!

I was hurrying to the railway-station and I missed my train.

While I was waiting for the next, I saw him in the rain & it was love at first sight for me & for him too as he proposed when we boarded the train...

The Map

Hard times were upon Maggi & Maria after the sudden accidental death of their parents & their grandparents.

Creditors were at their door and demanded money, claiming that even their home was mortgaged...

The sisters rummaged through all the drawers & shelves & found an important-looking Map in a black-box on their grandpa's study-table.

They checked out the Map, studying it carefully, trying to figure out the mystery treasure that was described.

Kismat

Indian Bloggers

I’ve always aimed for the stars with stars in my eyes & worked hard sincerely.

But, I guess my Kismat* needs help as I haven't got what I deserve or the fruits of my effort rarely…

Last night when I prayed, I saw the moon dropped down to Earth just for me
& I was about to touch it gleefully…

The Star

When she was a kid, her grandmother had taught her the first ballet steps the day her parents were killed in an accident.

Before her grandmother passed away, the old lady promised her that she would be her guardian angel and watch over her & guide her like a bright star.

The Cathartic Risk

Thanks everyone for your love and support for my previous story- The Intriguing Connivance.
Based on popular demand, here is the sequel. Do hope that you like it!

The sky was foggy and hazy and the sea was stormy and appeared risky.

But, only he was on her mind as she plunged into those cold waters just to chase that boat that was carrying him...

The Intriguing Connivance

She whispered her question to him intrigued, "How did you land up here?"

He answered, "I missed you every second and have looked for you everywhere my love!"

When they appeared out of nowhere and asked her, "Do you know him?", she vehemently denied claiming, "This is the first time I'm meeting him!"

Just Married

http://rochellewisofffields.files.wordpress.com/2014/05/jennifer-pendergast4.jpg

When their eyes met, it was love at first sight.
