Authentic Black Beauty

They rejected me outright & treated me like dirt.
I could only pity them, far from getting hurt...
I emerged refreshed by dipping into my private pool,
They still gave their verdict- I am a loser & uncool!

Seeing my skin-colour, they said I'm "black".
They felt they were being "right" & on track.
Correct that I'm black; but, there's more to me.
They can't see the real me- filled with authenticity!

My Bold & Black Wishlist

Black is bold and beautiful. 

Black is elegant and classy.

Black is what hearts desire.

Wish these 5 Black Requirements for our country-

I- BLACKBOARD, Black-Slate & Graphite (Black) Pencils for all kids and Education for everyone:

May there be Schools for all. May India's entire population be well-educated. 

I wish true implementation of Right To Education for all.

The Mind Reader

I was busy staring at my Computer-screen as usual, figuring what to write for #WhatTheBlack & for #WOW of BlogAdda.

I chanced to look at my daughter.

She was seriously looking at her Maths text-book, trying to complete her home-work.

"How does one solve this problem? What is "Percentage" anyway? God knows why they give us these sums to solve!"

I realized that I had been blessed with the power to read minds!

I was now reading a school-student's mind!

Thanks to my power, I now knew what exactly was going on in my daughter's mind!
