The Dream House

She often saw that house.

It looked appealing from outside.

The satin curtains, the furniture... everything looked perfect.

Not satisfied with glimpses, she wanted to explore the entire house.

The mere thought made her feel happy.

She imagined what it’d be like to visit it.

She got her chance soon.

Picture Prompt- Source: Roger Bultot

An elderly woman wanted a parcel hand-delivered there.

She volunteered.

She entered the gate and rang the bell.

A young man answered the door.

While handing over the parcel, she saw for herself-

The house was messy and dark.

She realized it had high-quality classy posters affixed on the windows!
