The
Doctor had pronounced me dead and God’s angels took me away from my home to Heaven
where I found three important ladies- my Mother, my Granny & my Grandma, who
were happy & sad to see me there.
After
the happy hugs, they were upset as on the giant screen we could see the live telecast of what was
happening in my home on Planet Earth right then- that my Papa, siblings, hubby,
kid and other near and dear were inconsolable…
When
God came to see me, my Mom started questioning Him- “Why did you invite my kid here
so soon and do you have any idea- how will my grandchild, son-in-law, husband
& kids live without her?”
Even
I questioned God, “How will Planet Earth have any niceness & goodness left
if you take away all the nice & good people, like my Mom & my grandmothers…
and now me?!”
God
was still thinking of a suitable answer when the three angelic ladies demanded Him
to gift me another life on Planet Earth as my life was essential for so many
lives…
They
were God’s favorite angels and God agreed to their request!
Just
before I departed Heaven, my Granny, who had left us a month ago, let me into
the secret of her key, “Convey to your Uncles that my Locker’s key is in
the secret compartment of the Silver Filigree Konark Temple in my Showcase.”

While bidding me goodbye, my
Mother & my Grandma were very concerned about their respective husbands and
asked me to take care of their health…
Just
then, the Doctor’s face lit up as he announced, “It’s a miracle- She’s back
from the dead!”
This is my Post for the IndiSpireTopic-2-#BackFromTheDead, Write Tribe - The Wednesday Prompt 2014 #8 & Write Tribe - Festival Of Words: 9-Sentence Fiction.
Aaha ! A very very imaginative piece, Anita. Happy that she could come back. Happier that she knew all the lovely ladies in her life are happy in heaven :) Loved the way the ladies were concerned about their hubbies on earth :) :) Women are like that, aren't we !
ReplyDeleteThanks Sreeja :) Delighted that you liked it!
DeleteYes, High-5! We women are always so concerned! And the three women I have mentioned were the epitome of caring & sharing. I know they are my Guardian Angels now.
So glad she came back to Earth! The older ladies did a good job of arm-twisting the Big Man, eh? ;)
ReplyDeletePS: I like the way you combined all three prompts, Anita.
Thank you so much, Corinne! Means a lot :)
DeleteYes, that's why the Teen Deviyan are the 'Winsome Threesome!'
Even God listens to them! :)

DeleteYou had me at the Big Screen :D
ReplyDeleteBig Screens in the Heaven! Dunno if it's for real! :)
DeleteIt was all your mother and grandmothers' work, and the doctor got the credit!
ReplyDeleteWriting on multiple prompts must be very challenging and would require great imagination, I believe. You handled it well!
And your deep affection for the three ladies in your life shows up!
True Saket! Good observation. Happens so many times.
DeleteSome people hope & pray while others give us their blessings that saves us. Prayers & Blessings can save us!
Multiple prompts are indeed challenging. But, sometimes when there's no time, they are the best option. Also, totally worthy to attempt them for such nice comments! :)
Thank you. God took away the nice ladies of my life to Heaven... Tough to live without them...
Aha ! that's so very imaginative :-D.. and you've nicely blended all the prompts ! I like that filigree work of Konark temple too.. :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot Maniparna :) I love your words! :)

DeleteThat was done on purpose by God to carry back messages to earth. :D
ReplyDeleteVery well written.
That's an excellent point, Indrani! God has His own plans.
DeleteWe think we have won! But, it's God's victory! :)

Yes! I read your creative post! It's cool thinking & positive attitude that can win over anyone- even God!
DeleteNice to be back on Planet Earth that too living in our own body!
(When I watched the Hindi movie, Jhuk Gaya Aasmaan, I was sure that I never want to live in another person's body, if I am ever sent back from Heaven!)
Truly creative! and yes that is women power at its best I guess :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Seeta! Yes, more power to women! Women Power rocks! :)
DeleteInternational Women's Day is round the corner!
God is also scared of women power :P

DeleteWoohoo I kept reading expecting a breeze of bollywood to hit me! But this was more better! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat to know, Soumya :) Thought of putting Bollywood too, but constrained by the number of sentences- 9! Decided to concentrate on my story :)
DeleteDid you combine the two prompts? Gooood! And it turned out to be a rather smart narrative..
ReplyDeleteRicha
Thanks Richa for your appreciation :) Delighted that you liked it!

Very nice Anita :)
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by & taking time out to share your view! Do visit often! Delighted you liked it!
DeleteThat's seriously awesome, you made a great post by correlating the prompts!
ReplyDeleteWelcome to my Blog! Thanks a lot for sharing. Actually, by combining the prompts, we get constrained....
DeleteI could do justice only to the hashtag- #BackFromTheDead and not the other guidelines in this IndiSpire idea as I had to stick to 9 sentences as per the other prompt. Perhaps had I not taken up the latter one here, I could have expressed another tearful drama...
You have done an excellent job with the prompt! Kudos!
Thanks a lot :)
DeleteKeep it up! :)
DeleteWow! That's amazing how you managed to combine so many prompts...great story! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much :) Delighted you liked it!
