Justice For Twisha Sharma

Extremely sad to learn about Twisha Sharma.

Many such cases do not see the light of the day.

Pray that there is justice for Twisha Sharma soon.

It is said- “Kanoon ke haath lambe hote hain”.
Law has long arms.
It is supposed to catch up with the culprits and criminals.

After media follow-up and pressure, public outrage, and suo motu cognizance by many including the Supreme Court, this Twisha Sharma case is at the juncture where it is now.
If no voices were raised, this would have been buried under the carpet as just another suicide case.
Worse, the character assassination was presented and narrative was set in such a matter-of-fact authoritative way about a dead girl who cannot defend herself!
Would anyone ever have the guts to question the dangerous and deadly mother and son duo sporting such “chori uparse seena zori” tactics and attitude?
They had almost made themselves look pure and pose as victims, while managing to paint the poor dead girl in negative light.
We thought there’ll be justice served and "Satyameva Jayate".
But, contacts, networking, power, money, position etc. matter in this Kali Yuga.
Here, it’s a different ballgame and some easily get away with murder.
A couple of phone-calls and all is well.

The powerful ex-Judge Mother-In-Law is in a comfortable hospital room with her mineral water & personal washroom, and her dangerous Advocate son must be getting royal treatment too, while Twisha’s family-members and her well-wishers await justice for Twisha.

If the advocate son had done no harm and is innocent, why did he run away?
Why was he absconding, and appeared only after the Court's interference?

Why did the mother-son duo make efforts to remove all evidence from crime scene, including deleting the CCTV footage?
Why did they drag Twisha's body down, instead of informing and calling the police, who'd take the required action.

Those guilty of Twisha’s murder must get their due.๐Ÿ™
Such cases must be taken up promptly and the results of investigation must be shared with exemplary punishment for those responsible.
Otherwise, the common people will lose faith in our judicial system.
This is about the credibility of our system and nation, and maintaining ethics and righteousness.
There is one true story - the one that has actually happened.
It must not stay hidden.

Are some guilty people so much above the law that they can twist and make a mockery of the law as per their whims and fancies?
Who is more important-
an individual & family
OR
a system & nation?

Who are we supposed to protect?

The motto of the Supreme Court of India is:
"เคฏเคคो เคงเคฐ्เคฎเคธ्เคคเคคो เคœเคฏः" (Yato Dharmastato Jayaแธฅ).
It translates to "Where there is Dharma (righteousness), there is victory."

Derived from the ancient Indian epic, the Mahabharata, this guiding principle reflects the judiciary's foundational belief that truth and moral righteousness will ultimately prevail in the pursuit of justice.

A beautiful young life has been snuffed out.
Twisha’s family deserves closure.
The public is watching and hoping.

This is not just an ordinary legal case; not simply "National News" now.
The nation wants to know.
The nation cries for justice for a murdered daughter.
The system cannot bring Twisha and other brides like her back to life.
At least help provide dignity to Twisha, and serve a tough lesson for the terrible mother-in-law and horrible husband- something that will deter such crimes in the future.

A system depends on its defenders.
When the defenders themselves indulge in breaking the law and using unfair means to win the verdict in their favour, what can ordinary citizens expect?
Twisha Sharma’s case involves a retired judge & practicing advocate.
We want justice for Twisha & for other such murders, dowry-related etc. cases.
Some high-profile cases await justice, evidence being wiped off while the world believes what’s shown as “proof”.
Some have been put in jail for personal vendetta.
Some guilty are set free, while innocents have been proven guilty & jailed.
May truth & justice triumph. ๐Ÿ™
Justice has been delayed, but should definitely not be denied.
Vande Mataram ๐Ÿ™
Bharat Mata Ki Jai ๐Ÿ™

This is my Facebook reaction to Republic TV's above hashtag and post-

Today, I got this message via WhatsApp- "เคตेเคฆเคจा เค•ो เคธเคฎเคเคจे เค•े เคฒिเค เคธंเคตेเคฆเคจा เคšाเคนिเค เค•्เคฏोंเค•ि เคญाเคทा เค•ा เค…เคจुเคตाเคฆ เคธंเคญเคต เคนै เคฒेเค•िเคจ เคญाเคตเคจाเค“ं เค•ा เคจเคนी।"
While there are exams for the selection of judges and advocates, how and where is "humanity" measured? Sadly, such people rule the roost.

What can we do to strengthen our system?
How can we stop such crimes in our society?
