The Identity

For the world he was yet another Dentist.

A smiling Dentist, who was self-made and had his own clinic.

But, he didn't consider himself to be just another Dentist. There are lots of Dentists around the world.

He was special...

He was a Smile-Doctor - the angel who spread real smiles...

He was like Santa Claus. But, unlike Santa, he distributed gifts to the underprivileged & helped in whichever way he could everyday...

    My dentist and his wife visit Haiti every year, sometimes twice in a year, to do free dental work for the people. I love that about my dentist. Hugs for bringing these angels of mercy to the attention of your readers...

    Lovely story, Anita. It's nice to read a story about a good dentist; so many of them do this amazing charity, and yet are rarely recognized for their good deeds. I think you could leave out the parentheses in the final line, and it would still work.

      I agree with you that there are many good souls, who never get recognition. For them doing good is its own reward. They get happiness out of it. May the tribe of such people increase :)
