The following is a stand-alone story. But, in case you would like to read the previous parts, here they are-
Part-1- Are You There?
Part-2- Bewitched!
SPELLBOUND!
Peter knew that his daughter Anna
had turned into a mannequin.
He did not know when and how
the spell would end.
Anna's phone rang.
Her friend, William, had
called.
Peter explained the situation.
William arrived.
He had got a giant
spinning-wheel.
Peter looked quizzically.
Photo Prompt- Rochelle Wisoff-Fields
"The spindle had cast a
spell on Princess Aurora- Sleeping Beauty. May be it will revive Anna."
William tried pricking the
mannequin's finger.
Nothing happened.
Peter suggested- "Kissing
might work!"
"Kiss her now!"
William had always wanted his
first kiss to be special.
As William took the mannequin in
his arms, Anna came to life.
100 words story for Friday Fictioneers
Do you believe in magic? Do you love fairy-tales?
It's good that Peter knew his fairy tales
ReplyDeletePeter knew & so did William :)
DeleteAlways good to refer to experts!
If I didn't believe in magic before, I do now! Delightful.
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot for your lovely words, Keith :)
DeleteThere's magic everywhere!
Cute. Also cute that you're running a Friday Fictioneers serial!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your cute words :)
DeleteYes! Had to end the story. Anna had to come to life.
Thanks to Friday Fictioneers for the opportunity.
It was worth a try! Thankfully no poisoned apples were involved... :)
ReplyDeleteTrue. The key is to keep trying. Some charm will surely work.
DeletePoisoned apples were part of the Snow White story. The Prince's kiss was the solution in that story too :)
Kissing worked even in the "Princess & the Frog".
In this story, no kissing frog was involved :)
Dear Anita,
ReplyDeleteAh yes Sleeping Beauty had a spinning wheel. Nice.
Shalom,
Rochelle
The spindle of the spinning-wheel had made Princess Aurora fall into a deep sleep- she became Sleeping Beauty.

Looks similar to Lord Rama turning a rock into a beautiful woman Ahalya.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing about Devi Ahalya's revival by Shree Rama.
DeleteGods have the magic and the aura.
Isn't magic wonderful!
ReplyDeleteLove magic. Particularly love it after reading your story!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad they decided to give it a try. "All's well that ends well."
